QATAR ( Country in the Middle East )
• Capital :- Doha. • Extends about 160 km from north to south and 80 km from east to west. • Shares a border with Saudi Arabia. • Shares maritime borders with United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Iran. • Most of the land is flat, low-lying desert. • Abū al-Bawl Hill (103 metres) - highest point in the country. • Sand dunes and salt flats - southern and southeastern sectors. • Economy :- Migrant workers - mostly from India, Pakistan, and Iran outnumber nationals.
